Have you heard of, or ever used Aeropress? I'm looking to level up my coffee game.
I have! It's a good brewer, and I know a few very well-known coffee shops that choose that over other brewers.
I personally like the plastic V60 as I've had more success getting the brighter notes from it versus the aeropress. But that's just me. :)
Does it worry you to use a plastic coffee maker? My fiancé is very health conscious so we currently have a glass one with a metal strainer
Nope! I'd just make sure the plastic is BPA free, and safe to use.
Plastic actually has a lower heat capacity than ceramics, therefore allowing heat to stay within the brew, making for higher extraction.
Plus, it's easy to wash, throw around, and cheap!
Oh cool I had no idea. Thanks!
